Up In The Air

George Clooney is Ryan, a sauve charmer and corporate downsizing expert (aka redundancy advisor in UK terms) as he jets around the US doing the dirty work for cowardly bosses. His constant flying means that he racks up impressive totals in airline miles and hotel perks - quite a nice perk of his job. But a new recruit just out of college at his firm wants to cut costs and bring in remote firing - via video link - and so rocks Ryan’s carefully constructed world. What does he do? He talks her into one last trip in which he will show her the ropes and hopefully maintain the status quo.
